Are there any linux aps freely available that can be used to repair/restore dbase 4 files. I have one that seems by error messages to be missing search keys. I had problems with a legacy NT automation system and since it seemed that the database taking 15 minute data might be corrupted I renamed it and let the program start a new one. I'd now like to repair this database and merge the old and new one but I need an app that will do the repair. I've tried several windows based demo utilities that scan the dbase and tell me its repairable but they won't save to a repaired file. This is a one off and I'd just as soon not have to buy another piece of windows software to do the job. -- Cheers, Rick Miles Movement stopped is no movement, and rest set in motion is no rest.
