Re: taking pictures at certain times

    Ahh the camera is a digital han camera, not a cheapo web cam...

    Can the camera be set up to take pictures on a time period? or is 
there some communications that can be fired down the USB to act as a web 
cam then just grab the stream?

    If its just a web cam, then the drivers are possibly already in the 
Kernel sources, then you could just use V4L (Video for Linux) to grab 
the video for say 3 seconds every hour, have you checked out sourceforge 
yet?
