sorry a bit off topic.. i own a macbook and a thinkpad.

whilst the macbook looks nicer, the thinkpad is about 100x more durable...
and a few hundred dollars cheaper.. bottom of the line MacBook is $1500,
bottom of the line Thinkpad T61 is $1200.... the thinkpad is also a higher
spec'd machine

i've dropped my thinkpad onto tiles and accidentally put a glass of water
into it... in both cases its been fine..

the macbook is a much more delicate machine .. as for apps.. they both do
roughly the same job - you can find similar apps for both Windows/Linux on
Thinkpad as you can for OS X on macbook..

the macbook looks nicer tho...
