Free mail to news gateway?

I enjoy posting to mailing lists (well, duh!), but don't enjoy posting to newsgroups as much. Is there a free mail-to-news gateway that: % Lets me post to newsgroups by emailing [email protected] or whatever? % Emails me "replies" to my posting? (ie, anything added to the thread I created) Surprisingly, Google Groups does not seem to do this. -- We're just a Bunch Of Regular Guys, a collective group that's trying to understand and assimilate technology.
