The new (beta) Ubuntu 8.04 installed just fine.
Found the new NIC chips, ran an adequate video driver to do the install,
then asked if I wanted NVIDIA propriatary drivers on reboot for the GeForce
8800 card.
The Ubuntu team is WAAAAY faster at integrating this stuff than MS!
