It really depends. Are you using an actively or passively cooled processor(s)? Are you using fully buffered DIMMs? If so, the buffer chip on them can tend to get really hot and you need to make sure you have good airflow. Best place to see what's going on is with the built in sensors. Just measuring exhaust temp doesn't give you much of an idea what's really going on inside the case. Even the sensors can be of limited use if you've just got poor airflow through the case. Sorry can't give you any specific help w/ this one, I wonder the same thing about my servers half the time and airflow/cable layout seems to make the biggest difference.
