Flipped colors on Video Playback

Did more tests.  Every video player I try has flipped colors.
(Looks like perhaps blue and green are flipped).
Youtube is fine (flash).  Pictures are fine.

I even logged onto the server and ran mplayer from there, displayed
to my client... and the colors are flipped.

I'm having trouble finding references to such a problem.
Any idea where it could be?
Video card driver?
(Is there some OpenGL command to display video frames that
   is messed up?)
