I have an Asterisk box set up for testing.

I used PBX-in-a-Flash -- very nice!

I haven't hooked up any real phones, yet. (Just testing with soft
phones.) Sorry. Please do post your experiences. I'm thinking about
setting up a box like what you described at home.
