A reminder of the SLUG meeting this Friday at UTS.

When:
Friday, May 2, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Note: The April monthly meeting will be held a week late, on Friday
2nd May, as Friday April 18th is Good Friday, and Friday April 25th is
Anzac Day.
Where:
UTS Broadway, Room 2.4.13.

What:
SLUG's monthly meeting, featuring general talks, special interest
talks and SLUGlets.
Open to the public and free of charge.
This month Tony Green will be talking about the upcoming SLUG
workshop, and how people can contribute. Bruce Badger will give a
special interest talk on the Smalltalk programming language. SLUGlets
topic will loosely be 'What SLUG can do to help newbies', with Tony
Green and Mick Boda leading the discussion.
This month's meeting will be in room 2.4.13 at UTS, and SLUGlets will
be in nearby room 2.4.29. See the above link for directions and a map
of UTS.

Dinner at Spice Boys (Indian), $20 per head.
Bruce Badger: "Smalltalk"
Bruce will be offering an introduction to the Smalltalk programming
language. Smalltalk is a dynamically typed object oriented programming
language designed at Xerox PARC during the 1970s.
SLUGlets
Sluglets are for people new to Linux, or who are looking for
discussion of a milder nature than the techie talk. Feel free to come
share your experiences with Linux, to get help, or to provide it.
This month, Tony Green and Mick Boda will be leading a discussion on
how SLUG can help newbies
