Andre, nope, I'm not the person who claimed it failed, I just fwd his email

I saw the email on the slug-chat, and, almost at the same time I've
received Apples' promo email, as well, I was reading David's email on the
pilot-link list, I thought both were relevant to the topic already started
(otherwise I wouldn't have posted them)

as a user of h/held device I s'pose I do take a lot of interest in
'things' of that nature: I look, touch, pick up, then put down, and, go
back to my Palm with the flap held with gaffers tape

as far as iPhone goes, I almost had one in my hand few weeks ago, a friend
had one, and, showed it to me at a social gathering;
I didn't want to be too geeky, so, despite temptation to do so, didn't
take it to look at, planning to look at it outside of the party,
but, when I saw Mel next, she told me she is selling it, as she doesn't
like it, wants her old phone back....

as for me, I'll look at it, but, none of my (Palm) software runs on it.....
so it's not much good to me...
