Re: Silicon Valley/SanFran in June

I was over there in Nov 07, back when the AUD was at >$0.95USD.
On Thanksgiving day, lacking anything better to do, I borrowed a bike, and
in ~4 hours of fairly easy riding I hit the Google, Yahoo, and Apple
campuses, taking in Microsoft, Juniper, Nokia, Motorola, Lockheed Martin,
NASA... PARC and Cisco were fairly close and I could have hit those as well,
but I'd started late in the day and it was already well past sunset by the
time I got to Apple.

I didn't *do* anything at any of the campuses, just rode past them, but it
was the day when I realised what "Silicon Valley" means.

The CHM is definitely worth a visit. If you can, try for a guided tour -
