DDR2 question

I'm ordering a 2GB DDR2 for Aspire One;

Apire One D250 specs are:

Atom N270 (1.60 GHz, 512 KB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB)
MEMORY 	1GB DDR2 667MHz
Mobile Intel® 945GSE Chipset (DDR2 400/533 MHz)

the RAM I've ordered:
Kingston 2GB Memory, PC2-6400, DDR2 800MHz, 200-pin SO-DIMM, CL5
(KVR800D2S5/2G)

isn't RAM 'backwards compatible' ?
the supplier tells me this might not work in Aspire One.
should I order 'PC-5300 (667MHz)' DDR2 ?
