I was reading through the website
sciencefriday.com and came across an author who
has written a book about Newton and his work in
countering counterfeiters while the Warden of the
Royal Mint:

One review has written:

"Levenson reveals the remarkable and true tale of
the only criminal investigator who was far, far
brainier than even Sherlock Holmes: Sir Isaac
Newton during his tenure as Warden of the Royal
Mint. What a fascinating saga! It allows us to see
the human side of Newton and how his amazing mind
worked when dealing with practical rather than
theoretical questions.”
—Walter Isaacson, author of Einstein, His Life and
Universe and Benjamin Franklin: An American Life

On the authors webpage:

http://inversesquare.wordpress.com/

what caught my eye was a comment he wrote:

"I couldn’t finish my response to that edit before
a long-scheduled family trip to South Africa, so I
bought a netbook (the Acer One, in case anyone
cares) and transferred my entire book folder into
Open Office from Microsoft Word (worked a treat —
Linux forever!)*"

:)

Just thought people might like to know.

Regards,

Patrick
