that's another story and a half.
I ended up canceling a credit cards account, (I think more than once),
over a disputed charge (not related to the current dispute)

in the end, to get it credited, I had to lodge a fraudulent charge
complaint, and, cancel the card, have new one issued

essentially, the card ppl were trying extremely hard to convince *me* that
I was obliged to pay the amount, rather than being on my side

it ended with me saying "if you have a docket with my sig, I'll pay it,
otherwise, I won't"
but this is an internet charge, they told me
"what is 'an internet charge'? never heard of such, do you have a docket
with my sig"
