Someone at my work had to work on a contract with a senior partner at one of the country's biggest law firms. He said the work my friend did was better than 5 year experienced law graduates. I'm sure a smart person can get across any discipline, and a smart person is smart enough to know their limitations. (unlike some VERY experienced IT people). I didn't find the OP the least bit offensive.
