Query about LCD screens

Just wanting to pick everyone's brains.

I've an IBM R50e with a cracked screen. It was
easy to get (and should be easy to get another
back in :))

I'm curious at to whether any of the IBM LCD
screen from the models close in the range (e.g..
R50, R60) of the same size would fit?

They have different part and model numbers for the
LCDs but they appear to be similar in shape etc.

Anyone with any ideas?
