video .ts from pvr, how to play?

I have a DGTEC PVR, I've exported 30min recording to USB, it created a .ts
file:  927,989,760 Part1.TS

I can open it in VLC 1.1.4 on XP, but, there is no audio, and, screen is,
well, not blank, but, display color? but not the picture

according to VLC it's

stats show 14000 frames played, 180 dropped

what do I need to play it ?
