Sydney E-Waste experiences

Hi Slug Chatters,

As many geeks who have lived in the same place for a number years you
tend to accumulate quite a bit of aging, possible not working,
electronic equipment.

I don't have the heart to push it along to landfill. The majority of
the E-Waste centres are in the western suburbs and I can't really get
there during business hours. I don't mind paying per kilo for my
waste, I think its fair.

Hoping for someone to share there experiences (rather then a search
engine result).

PS Might be a feel good project to do a E-Waste drive from all parts
of Sydney to the recycling centres. Just a thought.

PPS Am I the only one who wishes to thoughtfully dispose of E-Waste?
