share ipad photos between users on mac?

if any Mac users can offer some suggestions:

how can you access photos from another user account on Mac laptop ?

she has iPad with SLR digicam;

iPad connects to Mac laptop with 'username';

Mac laptop has 'username' and 'anotheruser'

she needs to log on as 'anotheruser' to gain access to her files/email etc;

I'm guessing that iPad needs to connect to 'username' account to transfer
photos, and, she needs to log on as 'anotheruser' to access email

what's the easiest way to access photos from 'username' account ?

does this make sense ?
I'm guessing what's happening, I have 0 Mac experience, but, she called me
from overseas asking for help, and, I'm trying to help...
(so far I succeeded in reconfiguring Entourage from smtp auth)
