Re: internet enabled tvs

Hi,

I still think the best smart TV, is a large monitor on a good solid liux box 
with a TV tuner in it. But for the rest of the world...

My parents have a Large Sony TV with a LAN port. It is not a "smart" tv, but 
what it does very well is display pictures, videos and music stored on a PC on 
that LAN. Was a bit complicated to set up, but very easy to use. If your a bit 
of a camera-holic, then this is dfinitly worth the extra dough. As for "Smart" 
TV, i would have thought general "early adopter" rules apply.
