Would all be true, Ken, if there were proper 
market forces at work and no ability to form 
monopolies - which comes about because the 
Government should restrict this ability in the 
interests of the community.

Additionally, you presume enough people care about 
using such mobiles and that manufacturers wish to 
provide them with the same bells and whistles as 
the rest...oh, lookie. They don't! Why? Because 
they're not forced too because the market has too 
many other shiny baubles to distract the unwitting 
public.

Seriously, 'market forces' is best used when 
you're running a virtual monopoly, or along with 
the other market leader you decide NOT to go to 
war with each other in the interests of the 
consumers...who are not your main priority anyway. 
Those persons are your shareholders.

Mixed economies, with serious government 
regulation, like Australia, are the only ones that 
are able to adequately manage and control the 
atavistic, destructive nature of 'market forces'.

Now, back to watching the musical of "The 
Communist Manifesto", directors cut with 
commentary, subtitles and in-DVD game - soft-toy 
optional.
