thanks, I've had another go at this (I've since installed CM7 on the Atri=
x)
(and, apparently Atrix has or had inherent problems with VOIP?)

anyhow, since installing CM7 I now tried again with CSIPSimple and
Acrobits, and, unlike before, it worked quite well, in fact, in the so fa=
r
limited testing, it worked perfect (I'm sure that is not always going to
be so, though)

so, yes, VOIP/3G it's now quite usable
