[activities] Items for General Business

I'd like to nominate two items for general business at the upcoming AGM:

Firstly, I'd like to suggest that we pass a motion of thanks to Ken
Wilson for his many years of active, and invaluable, service to the
association.

Secondly, I note that our home page lists our IRC channel and our
mailing lists as equally valid and valuable ways to participate in our
community. As a service to our members, and to the broader public, we
archive our mailing lists and make those archives freely available.
I'd like to move that the committee investigate and implement, as soon
as is practical, a similar scheme to archive, and make public those
archives, of our IRC channel.
