Greetings all, It appears that August is a busy month for our potential speakers -- it is now Monday and we still haven't got talks for this Friday. Eek! Since speakers are the lifeblood of our meetings, this is not good at all! Your mission, freedom fighters, if you so choose to accept it: Propose a talk for one of the two slots we have open! Choose between a General talk and an In-Depth talk. Seriously, you don't need to be the next Linus or RMS to give a talk at SLUG -- all you need is a passion for discussing your favourite F/LOSS project or technology. SLUG is also a great way to get a test run for talks for conferences such as OSDC or LCA.
