Speaking with all my hats, except the generic slug member hat, taken off. I
reserve the right to put on some/all of my hats later and vote against my
own ideas.
We have swanky new rooms at Google. We have two rooms that hold 40+ people
each (one holds 80) and have projection equipment; and we have some smaller
rooms we could use (one for ~20 people, one for ~10, and a few rooms for
very small groups). We have interwebs, and power can be arranged.

Perhaps, if we have no speakers lined up, why don't we take the opportunity
to try something novel? How about something along the lines of Atlassian's
"Fedex Day", but shorter: you have 3 hours to work on a project, and 3
minutes to present it at the end.
