* Wacom Graphics Tablet and pen - large one, but don't ask how many pixels. Worked perfectly last time I used it. * Optix XR Display Calibration and Profiling kit - complete in the box. AFAIK works on Linux - it certainly used to and I assume the software is still maintained. Otherwise there is always Apple or MS. * Macintosh G5 tower. Works fine, but no harddrive. It has a hard drive at the moment, but I'm going to take the HD out before I give the G5 away. * Pair of wifi access points - suitable for bridging between two buildings etc. I had it set up from my place to a factory 200 metres away and it worked a treat. I believe the range can be dramatically increased especially if you fit yagi's (which you can) and have good line of site. Even a kilometre or more, but don't quote me on that. I still have the instruction books. * Computer desk on a grand scale. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/surry-hills/desks/work-craft-bench-computer-desk-heavy-duty-steel-very-robust-/1053484068 I built this 15 years ago, but I've retired. Serious steel construction, on excellent lockable castors. Bank of power points on the back so you can plug in endless "bits". That means that usually you only need one power cable from the desk to the wall. Repatching is easy because you can wheel the desk away from the wall, then put it back when you are done. I had up to 5 towers, 2 screens, 2 printers, switch, router, KVM, etc etc etc. It would also function as a work bench. It won't break. You have to pick up from Surry Hills. I *might* be able to deliver the desk, but it will cost. -- David McQuire 0418 310312 -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
