Presentation summary:

   This session is a fast demo-driven tour of Contexts and Dependency
   Injection for Java EE, the new cool kid on the dependency injection
   block.

   We will discuss features such as injection, automatic context
   management, scoping, qualifiers, naming, object factories,
   producers, disposers, dynamic lookup, stereotypes, interceptors,
   decorators and lightweight type-safe events. The relationship
   between this critical Java EE 6 API covering generic dependency
   injection services and the rest of the platform including
   Dependency Injection for Java (JSR 330), managed beans,
   EJB 3.1, JSF 2 and JPA 2 will also be discussed.

   The major features of the API will be demonstrated in step-by-step
   running code using CanDI, Resin’s independent JSR 299 implementation.

About the Speaker:

   Reza Rahman is a Senior Software Engineer/Community Outreach Advocate
   at Caucho Technology focused on Resin’s EJB 3.1 Lite and CDI
   containers. Reza is the author of EJB 3 in Action from Manning
   Publishing. He is a frequent speaker at Java User Groups and
   conferences including TheServerSide and JavaOne. Reza was an
   independent member of the Java EE 6 and EJB 3.1 expert groups.
   He is currently a member of the Java EE 7, EJB 3.2 and
   JMS 2 expert groups.

   Reza has over a decade of experience with technology leadership,
   enterprise architecture, application development and consulting.
   He has been working with Java EE since its inception, developing
   on almost every major application platform ranging from Tomcat
   to JBoss, GlassFish, WebSphere and WebLogic. Reza has developed
   enterprise systems for companies including Motorola, Comcast,
   Nokia, Guardian Life, Prudential, Independence Blue Cross,
   Citigroup, Accenture and GMAC using EJB 2, EJB 3, Spring and Seam.

 From the Raleigh Beltline:

   Take the Western Blvd exit east toward downtown Raleigh. After
crossing Gorman Street turn right onto Varsity Drive. After crossing
Avent Ferry Road and Main Campus Drive, Red Hat's main entrance is on
the left. Parking is just beyond the entrance: a left into the parking
deck. Come back out of the deck, follow the sidewalk to the right and
back to the main entrance. The meeting room is to the left after
