Re: Java 7 and beyond

Java 7 runs nearly all Java 6 code just like Java 6 ran nearly all Java 5
code and so on and so forth.  An appserver tends to be pretty Java
dependent as SPIs tend to change.

In general, we are moving most customers on Linux servers to OpenJDK.
 Oracle's licensing changes have made it troublesome to stay on the Sun
JDK.  Most distributions have changed to default to OpenJDK anyhow.
 Windows users are generally having to stick to the Sun JDK because
availability is more restricted.
