Vienna, 20. September 2004 - The Fink project is proud to announce the
availability of a new binary distribution, version 0.7.1 dubbed "foo".

Please note that this release will only run on Panther based Mac OS X
versions.

This release contains:
~        Over 1650 pre-compiled packages including:

~        Binaries for KDE 3.1.4

~        Binaries for GNOME 2.4

~        Improved documentation from the Fink website including  	=09
translations into French, Japanese and simplified Chinese.

~        Various speed and feature improvements to the package
manager 			fink including the addition of a versatile Variants system.

~        A full list of the differences between 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 can
