Like you, I'm also suspicious that my previous attempted compilation may not have been using clang, but I assume that simply editing the SetCC line in openblas.info should have been enough. Uh, looks like your mailer did some text-file mischief to the patch on downloading. Apparently one still cannot simply post files as attachments… I am attaching the patch again xzipped, hopefully this will keep it intact. The correct md5sum is 0e8ba19c8b0d88375d004e9bd21d8c4d . I am also going to make a PR for the update, so you could download it from Github, but it would help to know if the clang workaround is successful first. You are right that SetCC should set the default C compiler in all scripts, so it CC is not redefined someplace else, I don’t understand either how that would happen. But without the extra patches the clang compilation would fail anyway, because it is bumping into the use of OpenMP in several places.
