But if you need visual confirmation that an install was complete, you can always force a table update by going to Source->Utilities->Index. > On Mar 7, 2020, at 12:11 AM, David Fass <[email protected]> wrote: > > The only 'issue' I'm having is I'll update a package and > it doesn't update the table to reflect that. > Other than that it's working pretty well... > > > > > > -----Original Message----- >> From: David Axler <[email protected]> >> Sent: Mar 6, 2020 11:51 PM >> To: David Fass <[email protected]> >> Cc: fink-beginners <[email protected]>, James Kolata <[email protected]> >> Subject: Re: [Fink-beginners] FinkCommander >> >> I’ve been using FinkCommander with all releases of 10.14, up through the most recent (10.14.6), >> and had no issues. >> >>> On Mar 6, 2020, at 5:57 AM, David Fass <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> Just because of this thread I opted to try it under 10.14 >>> and while some things don't seem to update very well >>> (packages don't seem to update if you update/install them) >>> But it does seem to work as far as installing stuff >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> -----Original Message----- >>>> From: Hanspeter Niederstrasser <[email protected]> >>>> Sent: Mar 6, 2020 12:17 AM >>>> To: James Kolata <[email protected]>, [email protected] >>>> Subject: Re: [Fink-beginners] FinkCommander >>>> >>>> On 3/3/20 4:26 PM, James Kolata wrote: >>>>> I am transitioning from 10.11.6 to 10.15.3 on a MacBook Pro.
