Fink-0.45.3 was released over the weekend.

The only functional change in this release is to restore using /sw as 
the default prefix for new installs on macOS 10.14 and earlier. This 
will allow new Fink installs on macOS 10.14 and earlier to continue to 
use the binary distribution in those systems, since that is set up to 
use /sw. For those on 10.15, the install prefix will still default to 
/opt/sw.
