it's an error when using the debian dir permissions which is very useful in packaging, and I think fink could use it in the future so I'd like to start playing with it. ie, postinstscript: dpkg-statoverride --update --add root admin 710 %p/etc/ssl/private this is how dpkg knows what pkg truly owns and controls a dir. --- TS http://www.southofheaven.org/ Life begins and ends with chaos, live between the chaos!
