I just finished adding an updated texinfo package in my exp as well that will work with the new dpkg, I've just asked aka to test it with the old dpkg to make sure it all works, since we are shuffling install-info's location and such I want to make sure they don't need each other. Hopefully this will be a step towards fixing everything up. the version in my exp I manually install a trigger file, if it gets added before dpkg it can just be removed, I was using it for testing since the Triggers field only exists in my bootstrap fork. --- TS http://www.southofheaven.org/ Life begins and ends with chaos, live between the chaos!
