Thanks, but as far as I can see encfs, in MacOS => 10.15 will not work,
since the osxfuse version fink ships does not allow to insert modules
into the kernel. 

The developer of osxfuse, Benjamin Fleischer decided to close the source
code (since wants companies that make a profit using his software to
contribute in its development), he renamed the sofware to MacFUse, the
binaries can be installed on MacOs and as Benjamin told me in an email,
he thinks that Fink could also distribute them.

These binaries, however, are necessary in order to compile a encfs
version that actually works.

So the question is: how to proceed:

    1. Write up HOWOTO file somewhere in the fink website?

    2. Include MacFuse and compile encfs?
