Texlive version in fink

I’m not entirely sure how to read this page:

https://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/texlive-base?rel_id=10.14.5-x86_64-current-stable

but if 0.20140523-6 means that this version is from 2014/05/23, then it’s about seven years old. I do know that I can’t use this version of TeX to prepare the current documents I’m working on, so I install a parallel version of TeXlive 2021.

I appreciate fink on MacOS, and I admit I don’t contribute much of anything except bug reports, so consider this a feature request.

I don’t know how difficult it is to package current version of TeXlive 2021 for fink, but if that can’t be done, perhaps a way to “install” a virtual package to tell fink that a relatively current version of texlive is already in your path.
