Sven, Until I get these set up as a pull request, here is the process. I think both emacsen-common and xinitrc have to be patched even though I was building emacs26-nox. The enclosed 4 files need to be put at the following locations. You may need to create some of the directories. /opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/local/main/finkinfo/editors/emacsen-common.info /opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/local/main/finkinfo/editors/emacsen-common.patch /opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/local/main/finkinfo/x11/xinitrc.patch /opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/local/main/finkinfo/x11/xinitrc.info At some point these will hopefully be incorporated into the master when I get things setup on my BS machine to do that. Then the local tree can be cleaned out. -Scott > On Jun 13, 2021, at 04:55, Sven de Vries <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Scott, > > please could you explain to me, how to modify emacsen-common? First you need to install a fresh version of fink from a separate branch. This allows for the installation of po4a. >> >> Second I had to modify xinitrc and one other emacsen-common to get emacs26 to install. I hope to do a PR on this soon but my remote BS system went off line over the weekend I have to find some time to get to the lab and restart it. There is some weird networking problem where BS loses its IP address and resorts to a private zeroconf address. >> >> -Scott >> >> >>> On Jun 5, 2021, at 12:48, Sven de Vries <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>> Hi, >>> >>> tried to build under 11.4 package po4a (actually emacs26 is the goal). >>> >>> I needed to create po4a-11.3 and module-build-pm-11.3 see attached.
