I know that there are sever problems with running Fink on Big Sur and the issues are beyond my talents to fix the database corruption problem. But there is a method of installing a dpkg update and bootstrapping Fink on Big Sur. However that does not seem to work for me to install Fink on Big Sur with a new laptop with the M1 processor. Is there are procedure for installing Fink. I am willing to test debug a few packages but I am stumped on how to proceed. Simply trying to run fink under rosetta 2 fails since it does not translate some plugins. Just a question if anyone has gotten past this point. -Scott _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] List archive: https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
