Re: gcc11 checksum error and failed compilation

The solution for me was in the link you provided. I did the easiest thing suggested which was to delete my 12.5.1 version of the command line tools (delete the folder /Library/Developer/CommandLIneTools) and install the 12.4 version of the command line tools that I downloaded from the Apple developer site. Run fink install gcc11 and this change allowed gcc11 to compile.

Of course, I now have a command line tools / OS mismatch, but I also downloaded the 12.5.1 command line tools from the Apple site and can reinstall them to correct the mismatch.
