"lapack3" is the new version (v3.10.0), whereas the older versions ("lapack380", etc.) do not currently compile on newer platforms. All packages in the main fink repo that used "lapack380" have been moved up to use that newer one. Do you specifically need 3.8.0? Moving forward, upstream and debian think that the interface is stable, so we won't need to keep changing package-names (it will just be newer versions of "lapack3" rather than "lapack350/360/361/380"), which will also be easier for maintainers and end-users.

    Hello,

I used to install lapack380, but now I find lapack380-shlib in the fink-web.
If I run fink list | grep lapack I get
     i lapack3 3.10.0-1 Reference L_APACK and BLAS libraries
     i lapack3-shlibs 3.10.0-1 Reference L_APACK and BLAS libraries
            lapack350 3.5.0-10 Reference L_APACK and BLAS libraries
            lapack350-shlibs 3.5.0-10 Reference L_APACK and BLAS libraries

Is it lapack 380 gone ?
