Status of Fink on Big Sur

I am currently running fink on Mojave, 10.14.6. I must upgrade to Big Sur, currently 11.6.5. My employer will not allow me to upgrade this mac to Catalina, 10.15, even though it is currently supported by Apple. Big Sur is currently not supported by fink, so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I use several utilities from fink, including gfortran (gcc), gnuplot, and emacs. What options do I have at this time? Is there any timeline for Big Sur support by fink?
