It might be good to download and copy them on an external disk, just in
case.
You never know how long they will be available. At least I will try to
download BS+Monterey+Ventura.

On my older Air I have still catalina, the software I want to install
(the very very recommendable sioyek pdf reader, needs at least Big Sur.

I could also try out Monterey but since there are these problems with
Ventura I prefer not to install that for the moment.
