Re: can't install package texlive-base-20240312-1

For me MacOS 15.1 / CLT 16.1
That file shows no errors;
   \font\fivetgt=tgoth5
   20343 words of font info for 74 preloaded fonts
   14 hyphenation exceptions
   Hyphenation trie of length 6075 has 181 ops out of 35111
     181 for language 0
   No pages of output.
   # actual command line used during this run
   # euptex -ini   -jobname=ptex -progname=ptex -kanji-internal=euc ptex.ini </dev/null

However, ptex just has info messages and is installed correctly, it is whatever follows the ptex build that is throwing the error in the format utility.  I think this is the luajithbtex.fmt file??  Neither that file nor a log file with that name is in that directory.

If I look in that directory, the log file is only 2 lines and there is no format (fmt) file:
   # actual command line used during this run
   # luajittex -ini   -jobname=luajittex -progname=luajittex luatex.ini </dev/null

If I try to run that command in that directory, I get a segmentation fault?
   % sudo luajittex -ini   -jobname=luajittex -progname=luajittex luatex.ini < /dev/null
   zsh: segmentation fault  sudo luajittex -ini -jobname=luajittex -progname=luajittex luatex.ini < 
   % 

It seems that luajittex is built wrong and set faults.
