Before reporting any errors, please run "fink selfupdate" and
try again. If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the
FAQ on fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on the fink-users
or fink-beginners mailing lists, with a carbon copy to the maintainer:
The Gnome Core Team <[email protected]>
Note that this is preferable to emailing the maintainer directly, since
most fink package maintainers do not have access to all possible
hardware and software configurations.
I've tried "fink selfupdate" (also followed by "fink update-all"). I am
however, unable to get past this. Someone else has also reported
something similar
(http://article.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.general/26900). If you
have encountered this problem, and have found a workaround, could you
please suggest a solution.
Thanks,
Ramesh
