No newer version of glib than 2.22.0, including 2.36.2 that I tried 
earlier this week, passes its self-tests (it's in my CVS exp on sf, 
with lots of upstream bugzilla links, if you want to play along). At 
least one of them is the gdbus interface suite that is completely 
unimplemented on darwin, and that cannot be until the dbus project 
documents what its own standard is.
