Clarification of incomplete FAQ

FAQ Q5.24:
  Q5.24: When I try to do a binary update, there are many messages 
  with "File not found"

Lists the method of solving the problem "Couldn't stat source 
package list file" as running 'fink scanpackages'. This did not 
work for me. However, "fink update" followed by "fink scanpackages" 
did the trick. 

Also, the FAQ message was not clear in the problem it addressed. 
For instance, I was not always getting the file "File not found" 
message, just the stat message. Thankfully, Google directed me 
to the FAQ page on the 10th or so recommendation of people 
facing just this problem. Could the FAQ question be modified to 
list its addressing of the "stat" problem?

This was a major waste of time for me, and judging by the posts 
I found, several others too.  So, please, someone updates the FAQ.
