I don't know if it could lead to security issues, but in case I don't  
know, I go always the safe way. That's the first point.

The second point is that I'm not sure that if the cvs server is fixed  
and somebody thereafter updates it with a local tree where those  
files are executables and does not run the ssh permissions change  
script, he will not pollute again the cvs server with those files.

The third point (very selfish here) is that when there are many  
changes in the whole tree that I have not translated for a while, the  
best way for me to find which changes I should make is to compare the  
php versions (english versus french) in a browser. This way, I'm sure  
I catch anything easily, much more easily than browsing each cvs  
commits. So the date of update on the php files is very important.
