The first two lines above are completely irrelevant. Those are standard warrnings for every GTK executable which have been showing up on OS X/macOS for nearly two decades now. I'm going to assume that the "Cannot open display" line comes from the regular Terminal application and not xterm--the terminal from XQuartz--since you didn't specify and we can't read your mind or log in to your system. If my assumption is correct, then you might try opening an xterm (by default it's available from a command shortcut in XQuartz, or you can run it as 'xterm' from the ordinary Terminal) and then attempt to run midori from that. If that works, then you might need to log out or even reboot to reset some of XQuartz's internals. If that doesn't work, then we'll need to get more detailed information about your packages. --- ** [bugs:#1657] midori** **Status:** open **Group:** 10.11 **Labels:** midori **Created:** Sun Apr 02, 2017 01:45 PM UTC by martin levy **Last Updated:** Sun Apr 02, 2017 01:45 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody after run midori: (process:59780): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
