I have a local test build of qt5-base 5.15.17 from last May.  It was 
based on ASSI's substantial work previous.  I am unsure how robust it 
is; I believe I had some issue trying to upload it and set it aside.
And then real life ensued.  Let me investigate a bit to say more.

I have not looked into Qt6 at all.
