Use 'make install' instead of rename/link 'your_host_name.cf' to 'sendmail.cf'
Sorry for my mistake

You may read /etc/mail/Makefile for more options

> Simply rename this file to sendmail.cf (or create link) and restart
> sendmail 'make restart'
